Your gift is invested with the Munson Healthcare Foundation’s sustaining funds unless designated otherwise. Sustaining funds are board-designated endowment funds and designed to perpetually provide resources to help continue the achievement of excellence and leadership in health care throughout northern Michigan.
Your legacy gift may be directed to sustaining funds that support vital programs throughout the region. The following are the most common choices:
Gifts are used to support patients and families who use Munson Hospice services, including the Hospice House, as well as other long term needs of the program.
Your unrestricted gift will be used to help meet the long-term needs of Munson Healthcare, wherever needed most.
Gifts support the long-term needs of Munson Medical Center and may be designated for any of the following areas:
Gifts support the long-term needs of Munson Healthcare Cadillac Hospital.
Gifts support the long-term needs of Munson Healthcare Charlevoix Hospital.
Gifts support the long-term needs of Munson Healthcare Grayling Hospital.
Gifts support the long-term needs of Munson Healthcare Manistee Hospital.
Gift support the long-term needs of Munson Healthcare Otsego Memorial Hospital.
Named funds can be established to honor or memorialize someone special to you, and can be restricted to a particular area as identified above, or unrestricted for the area of greatest need. The minimum gift to establish a named fund is $50,000.
Gifts support the continuing education needs of the nursing staff throughout the Munson Healthcare system.
Gifts support the long-term needs of Paul Oliver Memorial Hospital.
Gifts are used to support and carry out specialty clinic services for children throughout northern Michigan.
